Description
Bugleweed aerials have been known to be useful in lowering high levels of thyroid hormones (hyperthyroidism).
Bugleweed is also used to treat premenstrual syndrome; breast pain; nervousness; trouble sleeping (insomnia); coughs and bleeding - especially nosebleeds and heavy bleeding during menstruation. It has also been used as a sedative, astringent, and mild narcotic.
