Description
Grown following organic principles, our Australian Sage leaf is a powerful medicinal perrenial herb.
It has a strong, astringent, sweet savoury and peppery flavour and a fresh aroma. Commonly used in Italian cooking, it is an essential herb for pork and poultry stuffing. Good with cheese dishes, eggplant, veal, sausages, soups, stews, turkey and boiled or roasted vegetables.
Sage is anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antispasmodic, antiseptic, anti-aging, sedative, cooling, and a circulatory stimulant.
Common medicinal uses include: strengthens the heart, fights infections, prevents premature ageing, fights free radicals, soothes the digestive tract, eases mentrual irregularities.
