Customer Spotlight: September 2024
With the widest range of organic dried botanicals, Austral Herbs attracts a variety of wholesale customers who seek high-quality herbs and spices for their business or personal endeavours.
It is truly a pleasure to offer our bulk purchase services and provide the support needed to help those missions thrive.
A couple of industries that we serve are Retail/E-commerce and Education, where our ingredients are incorporated into unique products or teachings.
Take Little Wild & Green and Junior Herbalist Club for instance, who create enchanting products for kids using our dried flowers.
Little Wild & Green has been working with Austral Herbs for over 3 years to source dried flowers, which they use to create petal mixes for kids’ nature play, potions, crafts, confetti, etc.
Their biggest sellers at the moment are the Nature Craft Kits that they fill with Flower Petals and Botanical Powders, and the Dried Flower Mixes for Nature Play Potions, Playdough and Craft, which are especially popular coming into Spring.
"Last year, our nature craft kits which contain dried flower petals became a finalist in the Australia Clean & Conscious Awards for eco-friendly and sustainable products. In the last 12 months, sales of our products containing flower petals have increased by over 150%, showing the increasing demand and enthusiasm for nature play and more sustainable, natural play & craft materials."

The Junior Herbalist Club’s journey with Austral Herbs began in 2002. Based in Bondi, they order our dried herbs for making natural wonders such as lavender bags with Austral Herb's organic lavender flowers.
"Austral Herbs very kindly sponsored the Junior Herbalist Club (JHC) inaugural Australian leader training in Sydney last year (October 2023) and now there are 11 JHC classes in Australia (it's a UK initiative) teaching 102 children about herbal medicine in a safe and supervised environment."

The Junior Herbalist Club is an extracurricular course for kids founded 10 years ago in the UK by medical herbalist Mel Hornby with the aim to help children learn about the healing plants around them in a fun and safe environment.
The Club currently has 11 children in Bondi, and during their lavender season, they had a lavender session and made lavender bags with organic lavender Flowers. One of the students had just found out her grandmother was in hospital so they made a lavender bag for both her mother and grandmother, who were so grateful as it helped relax them and improved their sleep.
2025 Junior Herbalist Club classes will be held in Bronte Dispensary in Sydney from February next year. So anyone with a child aged 7-12 who is interested in joining can contact JHC on 0487-000-385 to register, or visit them at www.juniorherbalistclub.com to learn more!
