TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PRE-ORDER SALES
By placing a pre-order with Austral Herbs, you acknowledge and agree to the following conditions in addition to our standard Terms and Conditions:
1) Pre-Order Overview
Pre-orders allow customers to reserve products that are not currently in stock. Estimated arrival dates are provided as a guide only and are subject to change based on supplier availability, shipping delays, customs clearance, or other factors beyond our control. Austral Herbs will make every reasonable effort to meet these estimates and will notify customers promptly of any significant changes.
2) Payment Terms
For customers on standard payment methods, full payment is required at the time of placing the pre-order. For customers on approved account terms, payment will be due 30 days from the pre-order date, not from the shipment or delivery date. By completing a pre-order, you acknowledge that payment is being made for goods not yet in stock, and that Austral Herbs expects to supply the goods within a reasonable timeframe consistent with the estimated arrival date.
3) Cancellations and Changes
Once a pre-order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled or modified due to a change of mind. Austral Herbs reserves the right to cancel a pre-order if the product becomes unavailable or does not meet our quality standards upon arrival. In such cases, a full refund will be issued within seven (7) business days of cancellation. If a supplier delay results in an ETA change exceeding thirty (30) days beyond the originally advised timeframe, customers may request a cancellation and full refund. If Austral Herbs is unable to supply the goods within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a refund or replacement in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
4) Estimated Arrival Dates
Estimated arrival dates are indicative only and not guaranteed. While we strive to provide accurate timelines, factors such as international freight, customs clearance, and supplier stock levels may affect delivery schedules. Customers will be notified within seven (7) business days via email of any significant updates or delays exceeding twenty-one (21) days from the original estimated arrival date. If the estimated arrival date is delayed by more than ninety (90) days from the original estimate, customers will be entitled to a full refund upon request or may choose to wait for the product.
5) Combined Orders Handling
Orders that include both in-stock and pre-order items will be shipped together once the final pre-order item is available. To avoid delays, we recommend placing separate orders for items that are currently available or expected to be available sooner than the pre-order item. If you wish to receive in-stock items earlier, we can arrange split shipment at your request. Additional shipping fees may apply.
6) Refunds and Unavailability
If Austral Herbs cannot supply a pre-ordered product - for example, due to discontinuation or supplier withdrawal - a full refund will be processed to the original payment method within seven (7) business days of notification.
7) Application of Other Terms
All other existing Austral Herbs Terms and Conditions apply to pre-orders, including those related to shipping, returns (where applicable), and product use. Nothing in these pre-order terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, including the right to a refund, replacement or repair if goods fail to meet a consumer guarantee.
8) Definitions
Business Day: A day (other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday) on which banks in New South Wales are open for business.
Significant Update: A change to the estimated arrival date exceeding fourteen (14) days or any material change to product availability.
