Description
Jamaican dogwood is well-known as a remedy for migraine.
It was also used to promote sweating as early as 1844. It's now primarily used as a remedy for anxiety, insomnia, fear and nervous breakdown, as well as relieving cough and menstrual pain. The taste is acrid and bitter. Actions include: anti-spasmodic, nervine, cardiotonic, analgesic, diuretic, sedative and anodyne.
