Description
Grindelia is a bright yellow flowered plant found in prairies, plains and along the side of the road in south west USA and Mexico.
Known for its calming effect on the heart muscles and respiratory system which make it effective in the natural treatment of asthma.
Common medicinal uses include: to treat whooping cough, asthma, to clear up congestion, give relief for emphysema.
Actions include: antispasmodic, diuretic.
Topical preparations can be used to soothe burns, insect bites, skin rashes.
