Today it resembles grass, but back when dinosaurs were around, it grew much, much taller.
Horsetail is actually a type of grass, but is dried and used medicinally for it’s high silica content. This makes it excellent for promoting healthy hair, skin and nails, and also has a use in treating urinary tract infections.
